Best graphics card for pc with ddr2 ram

Hello, I am upgrading my old computer (HP Pavilion) with low budget. The motherboard has ddr2 ram slot so I only can upgrade it to 2x4 gb ddr2 ram which is still not the best. Is buying a geforce gt730 worth it? If not what are the best graphics cards that will go well with the ram?

Graphics cards have their own ram, so the ram doesn't affect them directly. However, the age of the motherboard implies that your processor may not be able to keep up with modern gpus, so a high-end one could be a waste of money.
1) What CPU is in that old computer?
2) What sort of applications / games do you intend to run?

I upgraded the CPU to AMD Phenom II X4 960T. The programs/games I'm planning to run are Sony Vegas, Photoshop, modern warfare 2, csgo, pubg, and some more easier to run games/apps. And if that helps, the motherboard is M2N68-LA (Narra5).

My job is just to elicit information. Anybody have a good answer for the OP? I've never run Photoshop myself, but it sounds to me as if s/he's cruisin' for a bruisin' trying to run it on something that old.
