I don't know what $150 is in NZ dollars... If you can, try to stretch to a 7850, otherwise go for a 7770, but I don't think that a 7770 would max Diablo, it'd be a little off the mark. WHy specifically AMD card?
if you have a PSU to power it and a fairly modern CPU, then yes.
I have a 620 Watt Seasonic M12 II and a AMD Athlon II X4 645 Quad Core 3.1Ghz cpu.
Will that be good enough with the 6850 or should I pay the extra and get the 6870?
something is wrong there. both techspot and toms' have identical figures for the AMD 6850 in 1050p. Tom's has the 6770 running better then the 6850 in every test but 1600p. the 6850 should have better numbers then the 6770, techspot is more inline with what you expect.
hmmmmm i didn't notice that good eye actually agree seems highly unlikely i don't see how it possible a 6770 could run better then the 6850 period

Think it's a typo or what kinda a big typo if so  i don't know but i agree it's wrong

not sure about that cpu helping you get the best performance with a 6870.
yes, i know this is skyrum but i did pick the bench because it is rather cpu intense to show a worse case senario:
and that is with a AMD Radeon HD 7970 you may want to consider the 6850 even though that is a most excellent PSU to run ANY graphics card. but also be aware you WILL get better frame rates playing D3. like i said skyrim is more cpu intense . . like for BF3 it doesn't matter, more GPU intense . .

now i am confused . . 😛
Okay.. those screenshots confuse the *** out of me.. but let me get this straight.
My comp would work better with a 6850 rather than a 6870?
Also, is it 6770 > 6850 or the other way around? Each website has a different opinion. o.o

yeah, i know. sorry about that.
here i'll put it this way: if you are going to play a CPU intense game like skyrim that 645 will get crushed!
BUT since you playing D3 which is not cpu intense, like BF3 single player, have at the 6870!
I think I'm going to go with the 6770 simply because the price is right and the XFX one seems to have a nice rating.
Will I see a major upgrade if I just go with the 6850 instead of the 6770?
