please can anyone tell me what the best graphics card for the hp xw6200 workstation would realy be appreciated.
Ok this depend a lot on what you are doing, you do have a pci e 16 slot on your motherboard according to hp, first I would say if you plan on doing some major gaming upgrade your computer first, if not and all you are doing is surfing the web, email, videos, I would say radeon hd 5450, geforce gt 210, radeon r7 240, you could go used and get something like gtx 460, or even gtx 660, most anything in between, if you are gaming anything more then I would say 660 would be over kill on that system, but anything more is ok, system will just use what it can, everything is mostly depending on your budget, the first three I listed are at frys right now for 19, 29, and 59, you need more, or want more, they have a radeon r7 360 for 125, now if you wanted you could shop around and get something better, for that system a good 1 to 2 gb ddr5 will work great, but a good ddr 3 will also be good just not as good for gaming, will work but fps will suffer, so give us an idea what you are doing or wanting, and we can help you out more, but this is a great starting point, your system at best is a 3.6 zeon, and ddr2 ram, so such an old pc a high end graphics card would not be worrent, but let's say you are planning to upgrade your pc, over the next year or so, spending a little more now, might be worth it, why buy another graphics card in a year, just spend a bit more and get a better one now, but if this is what you have and you are happy, save a few dollars and get one of the first three I listed. I would say, spend the 60 or 125 and you will be happy you did. I hope this helped, and I am sorry I wrote so much, but, if you want to spend more now and plan to game, I would say the radeon r7 360 for 125, or gtx 960 for 190, have a great day
