I hope Nvidia has better price to performance when Maxwell comes out, right now, AMD is simply manufacturing cards with similar performance (and occasionally more VRAM.) for 20-50 dollars less.
 


Although this doesn't prove anything, you might be right.
We have trolls all over the world and we have data placing GTX980 from this which is behind GTX780ti, others claiming 11% faster than GTX780ti, while some other guyz 2 days ago (10th september) said somthing about 30% faster than GTX780ti (people at cyberland).
I think there is so much crap information here that we will have to wait for the reviews in order to see the actual performance.

Yes they are synthetic benchmarks based on all possible data reads available/leaked etc for the next series gpus. Plus another leak from inside nVIDIA mentioned that 980 won't beat 780Ti but synthetic benchmarks are showing otherway around. Let's see when products are available and real benchmarks start to appear things will clear more then.
