I Want That Graphic Card Of NVIDIA DDR 3 On Which All Games Such As : NFS Most Wanted 2012, Crysis 3 And GTA IV LIBERTY CITY RUNS FASTER.

Check with the tech support for your computer and see what they will support?

Call Dell and ask their tech support.

If I remember right the Pentium 4 motherboards used AGP graphics. What does this unit use?

starting to notice a downfall trend at AMD same way they have defaulted to lose on the CPU war with intel. more power bigger memory bus on the high end.
64 bit memory bus should have gone out with 2010 on every model except the x10/xx10 series cards.
i do not see the point in even making those x10/xx10 cards as onboard integrated graphics chipsets are faster and challenge even the x20/xx20 cards. used radeon 4850's go for $10 on ebay now even.

AMD is and has been the budget go to.. The GTX 970 is a very good bang for the buck and in my eyes the only nvidia card that has a similar price/performance ratio as AMD. The whole point of this guide is bang for the buck and budget, so yeah AMD is king there..

HA still trying to sell the NEW 900 series I see , you should be appalled. Seriously the 960 ??? what a joke. OH wait ya because they took the 700 series off the market. I forgot. I feel bad for all the suckers that jump on this. And Tom's should be speaking out on the real truth of this farse they call a major improvement in performance over the 780ti NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!!

I realy like reading your reviews but the firepro/quadro reviews are the ones i like the most and if possible i have a request for a review.

If you can please review the amd firepro w7100 and most importantly the so called crossfire pro using 2x w7100.Amd has been anouncing crossfirepro since 2009 for maya, siemens, creo and softimage but the only prove i for all those years i saw was a video from 2009 using maya 2009 and crossfire pro for 2 old v5700
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2ba86DA6kE and since than they havent showed anything yet they still have it as a feature but no one knows if it works!Ive asked autodesk, amd and even sapphire but they never give me a answer so as a last resort i will ask you if you can to verrify is this is a myth or if it realy does work and worth the investment!
If by some chance you decide to take on such a challenge please make a comparisson between the w7100 and r9 285 as i see that they shoud be the same gpu.

You will find that the THG price categories change each month in order to make sure there's enough wins on each side so as not to annoy any vendors. Look at the $125 limit and I bet if ya raise the bar a few bucks $10-20, there'd be a different winner.

The other issue I have is that in many categories, the choice will change depending on what resolution you are playing at. So choosing the best card in a category cause of it's performance at 4k is "non applicable" to someone playing at 1080p.... choosing the best card in a category cause of it's performance at 1080p is "non applicable" to someone playing at 4k

No SLI / CF pick..... ? What's a fellow to do who wants to play Crysis, Crysis 3, Watch Dogs, Far Cry 3/4, Tom Raider, Shadow of Mordor at 1440p

The 770 gets about 25% of the performance of a 970 at 1080p

BF gets 77.5 fps w/ a 970

Doing the math .... about 19 fps. Far Cry 3 would be about 15 fps.... better of course with reduced detail.

FC 4 is obviously much tougher

Min. recommended power supply of 750w for the r9 280x. but only 500w for the r9 290x? I think you made a mistake and that you probably mean 500w for the 280x aswell...?

Always thought that putting the 290x one tier below the 780Ti was a stretch. These days that it often outperforms it there is just no excuse for them to be apart in the hierarchy list.

Well, at the launch of 780 Ti, the 290X was by some quite amount slower. Nowadays the 290X is on average 2% faster. So yeah, they should revise their table.

The problem with every hierarchy list is that it's overly broad.... doesn't account for resolution, or stock v ersus overclocking.

At 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1600 ....

Right outta the box they rank 780 Ti > 290x > 780
After manual overclocking, they rank 780 Ti > 780 > 290x

Move to 4k and the 290x moves up.

The popular tier lists for other components have even more faults as a broad brush is painted for an entire series based upon one or two reviews, not recognizing that more often than not, the different sizes are made by different OEMs and different platforms
