Look for cards with a higher power limit. The MSI Gaming, the Gigabyte G1, the EVGA ACX 2.0+, etc. Make sure they have 2 power connectors. 1x 6pin and 1 x 8 pin, 2 x 6 pin or 2 x 8 pin...doesn't really matter as long as there are two....
FOr overclocking, stay away from the STRIX and the cheaper Galax cards. They're voltage locked at the VRM to only run at 1.212v. No matter what you do, you won't get them to run any higher. Most of the rest of them will run 1.256v to 1.275v with the stock bios settings.
