So I tried making this same thread before but all I got was just a bunch of bias fanboys. So i'm going to ask again. What is the best Nvidia GTX 980 Ti Variation for SLI gaming at 4K? I don't want any watercooled GPU's.

It really doesn't matter what card you get; you can get it based on looks, clock speeds, and all that. :)

Zotac's GTX 980 Ti is the only one that has the highest clock speed. :)

It is a long card however.

The other highest clock speeds is EVGA's Kingpin and MSI's Lightning edition. Lightning is also a long card.

Kingpin:

Lightning:

There are others, such as Asus, Gigabyte, and PNY. It really doesn't matter what card you choose. :)

Thank you for your suggestions. Im getting these cards in an NZXT Phantom 820 case so card size is not problem.
Does anyone else have any suggestions

SLI is going to put a lot of heat in your case, as far as i know kingpin is the only one with a gauranteed asic.

but long term gaming is the advantage her, not 4 fps. I would get the MSI lightning or G1 since they kick@ss at low temperatures

This is a beast of a card http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/87410-inno3d-ichill-geforce-gtx-980-ti-black/

I would go for the MSI Lightning, if you're going for the best non-Hybrid card.

"MSI's GTX 980 Ti Lightning is the pinnacle of GTX 980 Ti design. It comes with the highest clocks out of the box, boosts higher than any other GTX 980 Ti I tested, runs cooler and is quieter than any competing GTX 980 Ti while doing so. MSI's engineers delivered the perfect product."
