I recently upgraded my PC which means I'll now be focusing on next gen gaming (after I replace my stock heatsink which Imeans still debating with, any suggestions would be appreciated: TIP I'm don't think a cooler like the Hypo Eve 212 will fit), but because I will be, and most next gen games are heavily online based, I'm going to need a headset to use while playing games likeep Siege and Division to co-operate. Can anyone suggest a good pair? (If any specs are needed just ask)

That headset... is awesome. To the OP, they're not super cheap but Logitech G430s are the wired version of my G930s which work very well. They are virtual surround and you don't need a sound card.
absolute best quality option regardless of price?
headphones + desk mic on a boom or if voice quality isnt as important using a modmic

best quality "headsets"?
audiotechnica adg1/ag1 (overpriced but based on ad500x/a500x headphone), sennheiser game one (reasonably priced and based on hd518/hd558), sennheiser pc363d/373d (similar to hd555/595/pc350se) and beyerdynamic mmx300 (highly ovepriced but based on older dt770 premium design).

of course their are some cheap headsets like the hyper x cloud (based on takstar pro 80 budget headphones) that are okay for fairly cheap (but get the core version without the soundcard).

"gaming headsets" are often gimmicky and tend to have less quality sound and more a tuned sound to them. i'm not going to call the likes of razer, astro, etc headsets bad but quality levels are certainly subpar to headphones.

if you want virtual surround you can do this easily with a soundcard.

as far as a heatsink you would need to provide at minimum your case size so we know the dimensions or you could give us a rough measurement yourself. the 212evo is a good basic choice though not the best for the money (its just well known). if you need something good yet can be placed out of the way liquid coolers like corsairs all ion ones might be an option if height is an option.

Thanks for your answer, I'll be sure to check those headsets out (I don't have the money or setup for headphones and a mic. As for case size and space, any suggestions as to how I would go about measuring them? I bought my PC prebuilt but on the Amazon page I bought it, there is now a similar yet different case to mine

Mine :)

and yes its me, and yes the ear have speakers, and yes my wife gave them for my 50th, and yes, they are safely stored away until my Afterglow Wireless Headphones die on me.

SIDENOTE: Speaking of Wireless, I don't think I can use wireless headsets with my PC as I have no bluetooth option and cannot connect my current pair of headphones. I'm guessing it's either because I don't have a Wi-Fi card of my Windows 10 is fucked

Thanks for all the help guys. So I'm going to go with either the Logitech G430s or the HD668Bs. And as for my Bluetooth problem I have solved that. Once again Tom's Hardware has solved all my problems (almost)
