Best Intel I3 Haswell CPU?

What is the best 130 dollar Intel I3 Haswell CPU to pair with my R9 380x, i got a Phenom II X4 945 in it at the moment and i have not gotten a bottleneck yet, If my GPU is at 100 my cpu is from 75-85 percent on average and 70-90 on cores. Well clock dont mean anything, i want performance and the 4160 performs a little better.

Just so you know, clockspeed is how quickly a CPU cycles. The 4160 and 4170 are the same core, the 4170 just does things a little more quickly.... faster. Clockspeed doesn't mean much when comparing one architecture to another, but of course a 3.7ghz Haswell core will outperform a 3.6ghz Haswell core. There is literally no point in the 4160 existing if the 4170 is the same price.

Also the i3 6100 is Skylake. 4xxx CPUs are Haswell, 6xxx CPUs are Skylake.

Okay then Newegg is wrong on that.

Got any proof for where newegg said the 6100 was a haswel CPU? Cause they're pretty on-point are actually reliable source of specs for a lot of hardware, and the page for the 6100 CPU shows skylake currently.

I double checked i either read it wrong or looked at the wrong tab.

How could the slower i3-4160 perform better? The only difference is the clock multiplier (36 vs 37); however the i3-4360 is faster and more expensive.

Who cares about all that now cause new budget of 350 dollars. If a cpu only supports DDR3L or DDR4 i need a ram kit of 8GB aswell i only got DDR3.

Right, pick a nice motherboard with 4 RAM slots under $80 or so, an i5 6500, and 2x 8GB DDR4. The major differences between boards are largely in the connectors they have on the back panel.
