I'm planning on upgrading from my AMD CPU and motherboard to an Intel i5-6600K. The motherboard I have has some trouble keeping the chipset cool and i'd like to eliminate this problem.
Any boards out there that don't have this problem? Thanks
I would consider the ASUS Z170-A Mobo, the ASRock Z170 Pro4, or the Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI. Personally, I like the Gigabyte board. None of these boards will have the chipset heating issue. The Skylake and new Z170 chipsets are much more energy efficient.
The best overclocking motherboard for 1151 would be the ASRock Z170M OC. http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/7742/asrock-z170m-oc-formula-intel-z170-motherboard-review/index.html
Okay thanks but, edit. A motherboard for under $150?
