Tell us what case you're using would be very helpful.
Also the review thyrokio posted would have no bearing on your set-up.
The review uses a i7 130w cpu.
No one in their right mind would use a Shuriken for that application.
Your cpu is 95w and runs quite a bit cooler.
I'm not saying the Shuriken is the best unit out there but it would certainly perform better then your stock unit.

Hello !

As saint19 wrote, frostytech is a very good website for choosing a great CPU cooler.

Personally, I'd recommend the Noctua NH-C14. Here are some reviews :

You could also go with the Corsair H70. It's a bit louder, and a bit less efficient, but it takes less place and does not cover RAM heatsinks or the NB heatsink. It also stays clear of the first PCIe slot. Here are some reviews :

I hope this helped,

Yeah, but his CPU would be hotter with it than with stock heat sink and if it isn't then it's because stock fan's thermal compound was old/dry (like mine was when I swapped for the hyper 212+ (big)).

Yea the noctua and h70 are out of my price range. And if the scythe is inferior then its obviously not worth it. What about this? www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/181-5474044-3301909?qid=1298374556&a=B002AS9VQ4&sr=8-17

Good cooler, Just not what I would call a "low Profile".. :D
