First off, if this question has been answered elsewhere, I apologize. I did a quick search and came up with no good answers.

I am wanting to upgrade my memory on my PC and am having troubles deciding whether I would benefit most from higher speeds or lower timings. Basically what I am asking is what RAM would be the best buy for my price range and budget. I currently only have 8gb of DDR3 1600Mhz ram (Crucial Ballistix Sport (Came free with mobo)). I don't do any video editing, just gaming and internet browsing. I have been getting low memory errors as of recently playing certain games and thought an upgrade was due.

I was looking at getting

1. Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 2400mhz (8x2)

2. Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 1600mhz (8x2)

3. Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16gb 1866 (8x2)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148740

My setup currently is

ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 z77 mobo
i5-3570k OC'd to 3.8 with a Hyper 212 Evo cooler
MSI GTX 760 2gb GPU
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD
WD Black 1TB
OCZ ZT750w PSU

Any input you guys have would be appreciated.

Solution
If those are the only possibles get the 2400 VP sticks (but do not count on them running at 2400) they might, but many 3570Ks can't carry 2400, more realistic is 2133, but if you have a 'ggod' 3570K then 2400 is in reach 😉

Now does the voltage required make a difference? My ram now is 1.35v, but the corsair is 1.65v?
