Hey guys, I have exactly 105$ left in my paypal to see if I can find a decent monitor to buy. It needs to be under 105$ because I don't have a penny extra to pay for additional costs haha. I have been searching through a vast number of monitors on Newegg and Amazon, but have never been too keen on what is the best bang for the buck. I am currently using a BenQ GW250 1920x1080 @60hz with a 4ms response time. I am "pretty sure" that a 1-5ms response time won't be too noticeable considering I will be using a 60hz monitor. All I'm going to be doing with this monitor is watching Twitch streams, Youtube, and general browsing and what not; mainly due to the fact that I don't think I'll be able to find a monitor to replace the current one I have for gaming and such.
I would also like to know what are the major things I should look out for when browsing for a quality monitor in the future? My goal later is to get a 1ms 144hz monitor for gaming. But I wanted to know what features such as this really mean:
contrast ratio: 80,000,000:1 (ASCR)
pixel pitch: 0.248mm
Here are the links of a few monitors that I had in mind thus far:
