Best Monitor for the gtx 1080ti

Solution
Don't go after people who advise you against 144hz on gaming. Simple as that. I have one myself and the difference from 60hz is HUGE. All pro players use 144hz monitors and is isn't because they get them from free. It makes a difference. If you want to play competitively go for the benQ xl2430. If you don't really want to play at a high level you should really get the Acer Predator, it has one the best images quality out there.
If you're talking about the best, I'd have suggested the Acer Predator 34" curved monitor but that is easily over twice your budget(judging from the link) though this can be worth a look. Per the number of monitors, it's advised to buy two of the same unless you'd like to orient or work with different media on the secondary monitor.

Not a fan of refurbs but you could look at this as well. Accompanying review.

is that monitor any better than the one i linked before? any differences? also will the gtx 1080ti be good with 4k?

If you do know, what about H1Z1, DayZ, ARK, and some random indie games (is there a certain date or space required that makes games not good on 4k?)

Instead of getting two Monitors, get a 21:9, you wont regret it (using one myself right now)
Depending on what you are doing, look for a 29 or 34 Inch one, 34 Inch CAN be but mustnt be in 4k, so you gotta choose.

Finally, check that the Input lag is acceptable. 5ms and lower is totally acceptable. Also, i game with a 60Hz Monitor, really, there isnt much more than a 120Hz that makes sense. Save your Money & dont get a 144hz ...

Do you have a link to one that you have or one that is better? do you think its smart to get one 21:9 and one regular? Also my budget is around $700

Solution
From good to best:
Acer Predator Z301C | 2560x1080; 29,5"; 144Hz
Acer XZ350CU | 2560x1080; 35"; 144Hz
Acer Predator Z35 | as above but with G-Sync instead of FreeSync
(and the most prestigue) Acer ROG Swift PG348Q | 3440x1440; 34"; 100Hz

check prices at your area... all above have 5ms or less refresh time

@rubervaldo66, if i wouldnt know what i weite about, i would save my time not giving advice. 100Hz and above makes no difference. I tested that myself. The Benq Xl24 is nice (1ms refresh time) but 16:9 @ 24". If you want a multiple monitor setup, you will have bezels in the middle of the image.
Your choice.

Hope this helps, Attenbach

Good luck on those screen tears if your getting a 60htz monitor without VSync? Makes no difference? What planet are you on? I'm sorry but you're on crack if you think that. Google research on the different monitors and do search on why the higher hz is there. I believe you can also find the answer on this site. If you're just getting a 60hz monitor don't even bother with a 1080 ti and save yourself some money.
