Best Monitor? need opinions

I'm looking for a great monitor that i wont regret buying, im running a Sapphire vapor-x 7970

this is one option: ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms

I'm don't know if i should buy it only because it has 3d set up for Nvidia 3d not AMD

its good and really cheap yesterday i get form market with my hands best monitor i ever see its asus company its 24 i think 100hz its good dont hurt my eyes or anything im still test all may games right overall go for it you have better deal right know

its good and really cheap yesterday i get form market with my hands best monitor i ever see its asus company its 24 i think 100hz its good dont hurt my eyes or anything im still test all may games right overall go for it you have better deal right know

If you want very fluid moving images or to play in 3D, this monitor would be a great choice. Especially now that it is on discount on Newegg.
The only downside is that it cannot produce the color accuracy of that of an IPS panel. Colors are visibly more vibrant on an IPS panel, however they only come at 60hz so they cannot display 3D games or provide ultra fluid 144hz images like the VG248QE.

ok cool so this is a great monitor but should i switch over to a 670 or a 680 for the 3d, instead of my sapphire vapor-x 7970

Yes get an Nvidia card, the monitor support Nvidia 3D Vision 2 which is reportedly better than AMD HD3D option.

If you are planning on using it for 3D you might as well get the VG278H, bigger screen, integrated emitter for less clutter, and about the same price as if you had bought the 24" and 3D kit separately.

No, you are better off getting the vg248qe and buying your own kit. The 27" is too big for 1080p, pixels are too large.
