Try to aim for IPS. You will love the image quality.

In my opinion, 27-inch non-IPS screens will result in poor image quality and I don't think It's worth it.

If you really don't want anything else than those three the Asus VE278H is probably one of your better options.

I would personally go with the VX239H for your purposes OP. Great monitor for the price and ASUS has great customer support.
