Best monitor under £400?

So I am looking to buy a new monitor for Under £400 that will be used primarily for gaming, it does not need need to be 1ms or 144hz as I don't do any competitive gaming, I have considered ultra wide and 1440p monitors. What do you guys suggest? Thanks

Since you don't do any hardcore stuff, what about this 1440p monitor. It is 1440p, IPS panel, 4ms response time, has all 4 kinds of display connectors, and it is pretty cheap for a 1440p monitor.

Or if you really want to get fancy, you can get Samsung's first curved monitor. I bought it for my brother for Christmas, it is sitting like 5 ft away from me, obviously I can't open it to see if it is good or not. But I can tell you in about 15 days
