Question Best (Most silent and cheapest) RTX4090 without o/c intentions

Can someone help me out, there seem to be a ton of different RTX4090 models. I have no intentions at all to overclock them. I even don't mind if they have a few FPS less, but are more silent / cooled instead. Stability and coolness are my prime factors.

What model would you guys recommend to me? I would rather buy a cheaper one, but if there is good reason to get the most expensives one, I am also all ears. I am very hesitant with water cooling, but I didn't find out if the GPU watercooling systems need maintenance. I guess yes, like all watercooling systems due to evaporation.

Thanks!

Thanks for the list! After having done some research on my own, I would have went with Gigabyte too, as MSI and Asus seem to have serious problems with coil whine. So even if the Gigabyte cooler is a bit louder than the best Asus and MSI models, there is a good chance you have no annoying coil whining (and if you have, you can still exchange the model and try the next one).

I had couple MSI GPU in the past and never notice coil wine on my cards before.

My Asus TUF 4080 OC is very stable and has good cooling with the three fans.
When not used for gaming or 3D, the fans stop entirely and it is silent.

The Asus TUF 4090 is very similar, but with higher power requirements.

The higher end ROG Strix Asus cards mostly add a load of flashing LEDs and tuning options that don't really interest me.

I have never noticed any "coil whine" - it's often related to the PSU as well.
