Im at a loss. I am finding tons of solid reviews on a number of different boards. For starters my roommate wants me to buy his Crossfire V formula for cheap. I can buy a new crossfire v formula z or a gigabyte ga z77x or maby ASRock's 990FX Extreme9 . I need help. My project is around 1300. We will be rocking 16gbs of corsair vengeance 4x4gbs. a gtx 780. 2 128 SSD ect. I mean, for the budget this build is gonna be kick ass. But im just stumped on what board I should get. My primary focus is strictly gaming. I do render videos from time to time for youtube ect. But primary focus will be for gaming. PLEASE HELP
My probable processor--Processor – AMD FX 8350 maby

if you dont plan to extemely overclock your pc (with extreme i really mean like "nuclear power plant extreme") then i would replacd the crosshair v formular with the sabertooth 990fx
y paying for a extreme tweaker motherboard if you don't plan to make use of all its features ;-)

But I mean, for the price. What is the big difference between the v formula and the v formula z model. I mean we are talking just 100 dollar difference in my case due to the fact my roommate will sell me his crossfire V formula for 120 bucks. Newegg just a stock of forumla z's and they are almost 230 without shipping

the z model has a much higher margin for overclocking and is one of total 4 atm which supports the fx 9xxxx series
i just read you opt for the 8350, which is imho a good choice so i guess u will be very fine if you go for the saabertooth 990fx from asus

Processor – AMD FX 8350
otherboard – Asus Crosshair V Formula
Graphics Card – GTX 780 (Best possible graphics card, ti is too expensive)
RAM – 16GB Corsair Dominator 1600
SSD – Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (Can be reduced to 128)
PSU – 850 Watts
Computer Case – Something White/red

This is basically what my build will be when its all said and done. Some things have changed already and been ordered such as the PSU is a HXcorsair 750w.

But still my question remains. Based my specs above, whats going to be my best bet for motherboards?
