Best Motherboard for...?

As a computer scientist officially since 2008 graduation but more since entry into the “DP” or data processing community in the US Navy- I was hoping to read more about the motherboards than a “Gaming Review” such as the top SERVER Motherboards and then top desktop MB’s etc...? Can you make that happen?

Top server motherboards are generally purchased as a package with the rest of the server. The Asus or Supermicro server motherboards are more of a niche market. Build your own server, with new parts, is a very infrequent activity.
