Why do you put the AMD motherboards at the end? Do you realize the marketing that Intel is getting by appearing first on a "best motherboards" list? Why not just have a different article for each?

This site is very much biased in favor of Intel inside$$$.
Places like this is how Intel was able to dominate even when AMD had much better CPU's the last time around.
Don't expect that to change.
Intel has too much money to spend on "Marketing" aka bribery
They do some nice stuff here though so I continue to read I just have to take their CPU coverage with a grain of salt

Is there really no demand for a high performance professional motherboard with excellent memory, disk expansion capabilities and no plastic fins or flashing lights? Thats what i want but i really dont want a big flashing penis substitute adding electrical noise, heat and embarrassment to my studio.

Hi Tom, I´ve been reading your blog lately and i´m willing to build a gaming tower, my budget is around 1300€ and has to include the monitor also i´m willing to use a gtx 1080 (a guy is saving a gigabyte g1 gaming for me for 530€ which, correct me if i´m wrong but it´s a fairly good price) so I was wondering how much would you spend on a motherboard and if you have any recommendations for that budget. Actually if you have any recommendations in particular on everything SSD, Power supplies, the tower itself...I would appreciate it since i´m really new to all of this stuff and I really don´t know what should I be looking for

If the 1080 is already bought and the 1300€ is what you have left for the rest of the components, sounds better.

Love my MSI x370 Pro Carbon, waiting for 2700x to drop. 8 cores at 4.3ghz sounds nice, specially since I only have a 1500x at 3.9ghz that I got on sale for less than what it is going for now. Should be a noticeable upgrade I think. I will push to 3600mhz ram 32gb of it, mmmm saucy.
