What's the best mouse for CS:GO? Please don't try to make mouse comparisons unless you've actually used both of them. I'm also wondering about the Logitech Proteus Core vs Razer Deathadder. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Those mice are very popular and I'm not sure why, I don't like the build quality. A lot of pro counter:strike players use a Steelseries mouse. I use the Steelseries Sensei RAW, and I really like it, even after 1 year. It just feels comfortable, looks good and the side buttons are easy to press. The mouse scroller can be a little noisy but that's the only downside. Look at their website and find one that you would like because I highly recommend them. http://steelseries.com/products/mice

My friend uses a Steelseries Kana, it has the same look and feel but doesn't have as many side buttons. I think I'll be going for the Steelseries Rival next when my current one dies (if it does)

If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest looking around...

death adder is always at the top of the list, but razer is somewhat known to have failing products.

i have g502, it is a very nice mouse, some have issues in the mouse feet, though mine is working fine. i don't mind buying another set of feet if needed

I have used 7 Deathadder in the past and it feels really comfortable, for an extended period of time I thought I would never switch to another mouse until one day I realize that my 7th Deathadder in 4 years have broken and I have to take my MX518 out from my drawer (again) as a backup.

Then i thought, this mx518 lasted like decades, why not give some other Logitech products a try, bought the G502 at June, no complain so far and it looks a lot sturdy then the Deathadders I had, especially since this is the first mouse I have in 3 years that lasted more than 4 months.

The higher DPI of the proteus core is really handy while working on multi monitor.

Anyway, since you mentioned CS:GO, I think the "Sniper button" would be really handy for you.

The "Sniper button" is just a lousy gimmick, it all it does is lower your sensitivity, in fact most modern mice have a button that does that. It's convenient when switching around in games/programs to change your sensitivity temporarily but not actually in-game, I wouldn't recommend getting a mouse if this button is completely in the way such as the Corsair m65

I own the Razor deathadder chroma and I am in love with it. Before it however I used The razor Naga hex and after a couple of months something went wrong with it, the cursor would randomly have a spasm. However I have heard a lot of good things about the sensi even though I have never used it.

P.S I mainly play Csgo and I am a global elite.
