Best NVIDIA GTX 980?

heard good things about the acx2.0 cooler on the evga, other than that the reference blower designs would allow easier water cooling if that is your thing down the road... the asus reference design is also tempting.

If you go with a reference blower fan, then I would suggest the EVGA SC GTX 980.

For a non-reference cooler, I would suggest the Asus Stris or MSI Gaming GTX 980.

i like them too. But just based on past experience, I wouldn't rate them quite as high quality wise.

i like evga the best. for me, i stick with the reference coolers because they vent hot air out the back of the case, not in it like the acx do

The reference cooler is great for removing the heat from your case. With the reduced wattage of the GTX 980, you get the benefits of an overspec'ed cooler running slower for even less noise.
