GX-270 - they call it a 'mini-tower', but it's quite large - it's not the thin tower.

Well, I'd consider a new computer, but I have enough 'good' stuff lying around here I added to it - a gig of ram (in addition to the 512mb already in it), a 120gig HD, a DVD Burner, and to tell you the truth, a Pentium 4 2.8 is more than I use, I just don't like on-board video. The only thing I'm really lacking on this is a VC - and now that I know I have a 250w PS, that will be upgraded no matter what.
I just need to buy something and be done with it, I'm leaning towards (in this order) - something with GDDR3 memory, 256 bit, and probably 256mb of memory. From what I am reading - and for what I want to spend - GDDR3 seems to be the big thing speed-wise. More memory doesn't mean as much as FAST memory - from what I am reading. I may go down to 128 bit, as all I use is Windows 2000 for the foreseeable future.

KPO - thanks for the links, I learned a few things.
