Best overall 1080p card

So I've been browsing for parts for my 1080p gaming build. I managed to fit a 980ti in my budget. I checked the benchmarks and it kind of lost my interest since it's most talented in 1440p/4k. So what is the best 1080p card I can get (WITH THE BRAND.. XFX,MSI,EVGA,ETC.) for 600 dollars or less.

i run two gtx 980 in SLi for 1080P...overkill for most but if you turn games all the way up and max filtering at 16x by 8x (super sampling when possible) with vsync @ 60hz...all of a sudden its not overkill. games like gta 5, crysis 3, metro 2033/last light redux, far cry 4, Titan Fall, and many others will use every bit of processing power you can through their way for those settings. So before you rule out a GTX 980ti, ask yourself how much filtering and whether or not your willing to dial back the graphics settings to achieve your desired FPS. If it were me I would keep the TI build.

otherwise a gtx 980 standard or gtx 970 (personally no i don't like the latter card and would have issues with the 3.5 and .5 GB of ram issues with all the settings and filtering i use but many people like them just fine) would be a decent cards for nvidia. otherwise a fury or 390(x) would be decent amd cards
