I feel you I never notice these deals until after the time is over, lol. Besides I was locked out for a week for asking if a mod was eating enough fiber in his diet, lol.

The Tom's Hardware news feed mentioned the competition quite a few times over the 3 to 4 weeks we were accepting submissions. I'll try and post the competition in multiple forums next time.

May I suggest you check the community roundup regularly? We post it every Friday and it contains all the goings on in the Tom's Hardware community
