FWIW, my i7-920 @ 135W, on a high watt X58 MB driving a GTX260 had no trouble on a 460W HP PSU. Each one of my components draws quite a bit more than the corresponding refurb build, so a decent 430W PSU will have no problem. (Gaming my system rarely touched 300W at the wall measured by an APC UPS.)

That said, using a $30 PSU is not something I'd ever do. A 450W seasonic is in my newer build.
