SR-71 Blackbird’s Roswell Reality.

Built and running.
changed the
SSD to 525gb mx300 crucial stick
power supply evga 850 P2 80+
3tb barracuda

Do I need to do anything else to get the best out of gaming for this setup?
I've never overclocked anything and would like to know how if needed. Thanks
Thank you for the build.

Thanks so much SR-71 BLACKBIRD.
I would also just want to know on what website should I order these components and what kind of monitor should I get for this awesome build.
Thanks for all the help you've been providing.

I built something along the lines of a $500 Minimalist build for browsing. I think they should have using computer parts from Micro-Center as an option. I purchased a Gigabyte GA-H110N Motherboard with an i-3 6100 CPU and I saved an additional $30 off the motherboard when purchasing the i-3 6100. I also used a different case. I used a Thermaltake V1 Cube Case

In the $2500 VR build the prices of the video card and memory are showing as the same as the cooling fan for me ($46.99) - bug?

$500 PC Build: Homeless Overclocker
"The biggest issue is its rather limited storage space, with its 240GB SSD and no other storage devices. ... The system also has less RAM than we would like to see in a gaming PC, but it would be exceptionally difficult to accommodate 16GB of RAM at this low budget."
I think that only 240GB of storage is extremely prohibitive. The Steam folder on my computer, with only the actively used games installed, is almost twice of that. Then there's Uplay, BattleNet and Origin...
I see no reason to go beyond 8GB of RAM in a budget oriented build though. I went from 8GB to 16GB in my own computer half a year ago, and I've noticed no performance increase whatsoever in the daily use. In some benchmarks the performance actually took a slight hit.
- Is there any sort of proof available showing that having more than 8GB of RAM provides a substantial performance increase while gaming (at 1080p)?

Best $600 VR and $750 VR:
Both suffer from having a single stick (8GB) RAM, resulting in half the memory bandwidth possible.

Strange that it's only one build (the $2,000) that has 2TB of storage available.

all builds have extremelly garbage cases.

i understand for a sub $800 build, you gotta compromise.

but anything over a grand, you are not gonna go for a cheapo case.

i used to build on antec 300 or rosewill cases a lot for budget builds.

but once i stepped into $2k territory? obsidian 900, cm cosmos, in-win 850, 904, 909, or any decent lianli cases, enthroo evolv, ncase m1, you get the point........
