So yeah is that the best I can get for £1000 I know I haven't included an ssd but games revolve around the gpu and with that extra money I went with the 290x also I will pick up an ssd in a month or so the 840 evo is only around £70 Any other suggestions are appreciated greatly and if you have anything to ask or change please do so. Thanks in advance :)

The only thing is with the 770 I feel as if I'm overspending on it as 2gb VRAM is beginning to become meh and 3gb seems to be recommended so going with the 4gb version adds another 60-70£ And the ssd I'm not bothered about load times and as I said I will buy one in a months time. I've included an xfx psu in the build. Also with the 750w it gives me some headroom.

-Well then maybe R9 280X it is 3GB, you can always in the future add another one.
-With your build plus the GTX770 , the wattage will be aprox. 410w, add 130-150 for overclocking to 4.3-4.4 Ghz, and there you have 540-560w. That is why i suggested 600-650w :)

I just checked the 650w and it's 67£ and the 750w is only around 6-8 pound more so I can't really go wrong there plus would that allow me to crossfire the 290x in future? And if I have the money is it not best to go with the 290x seeing as I can squeeze it in?

Not buying till January so do you possibly think the heating problems would be fixed by then? I'll not be cross-firing till least another year or so and I think it may be wise for me as you said to go for a 850w psu. Also what do you think of the 4670k? Are OC'ed 4 cores strong enough for next gen?

Well i am sure they will be fixed by then, just check articles on the web about the R9 290X so you can be 100% sure. Some say that AMD will be better in the future because of their CPU architecture, but i think intel i5 4670k will be still good for another 3-4 years or maybe more. These days i5 4670k is all you need for gaming.
