Hello all,

I recently built a new PC with the H115i cooler from Corsair. There are 2x 140mm PWM fans on the radiator that are quite loud (PC on desk so very close). I want to replace the fans and make Push / Pull config, so four fans.

My first question: what do you recommend in terms of fans silence + static pressure/performance in a push / pull?

I know the Noctua fans are good but they look really bad. I may take two of the noctua if that is good, they won't be seen as they sit at the front of the chassis, but the other two must have a white tint (case is White/red and some black: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 7), black with a little red is possible too.

Someone also recommended me the 'Riing's of Thermaltake. I've also heard that ELoops are good and maybe cougars?

There is so much choice and I just want silence with still pretty good cooling.

My second question is: What is the best method to control the fans? I have set the pump to the CPU FAN header. (There is also CPU_OPT)

There are 2 fan connectors that come from the pump that lead to the 2 rad fans (2x PWM).
Could I use splitters on these two headers so I can control 4 fans via the pump so they get regulated according to the same temperature level? Or is this too much power draw/risk?

I also have a PWM fan connector on the bottom of my motherboard.

Thanks guys

What is your cpu?
You probably will not like my opinion:

Ditch the liquid cooler, it is not necessary.
14nm skylake runs cool.
For quiet, use a simple tower type air cooler with a 140mm fan.
Phanteks has some in various colors.

It is sufficient even for overclocking to the max a I7-6700K.
You will run out of safe vcore before you run out of thermal headroom.

FWIW
As of 5/2016
What percent can get an overclock at a somewhat sane 1.40v Vcore.

I7-6700K
4.9 2%
4.8 17%
4.7 59%
4.6 93%
4.5 100%

I5-6600K
5.0 2%
4.9 11%
4.8 36%
4.7 64%
4.6 88%

Why would I ditch the liquid cooler I just put in my system? I am running a 6700k and I am only asking for fan advice because the corsair fans suck anyway, you are not helping at all.

For 120mm these should help http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA59T.... They are MUCH better than those Noctua nfs f12 in terms of static pressure and airflow and are much cheaper. You can also change the ring color.

I need 140mm fans..
