Best Port for Gaming on 144Hz Monitor? HDMI, DisplayPort or Dual-link DVI-D

Getting a 2nd Monitor Soon, I was wondering if you guys can help me. Which Port is Best for gaming in 144Hz. The 3 Ports that are on the Monitor are HDMI, DisplayPort, & Dual-link DVI-D.

Absolutely wrong. For HDMI 1.4b can only support up to 120Hz within 1080p.
So for 144HZ you have to use DVI-D/DisplayPort.

It doesn't even do that. HDMI 1.4b can only support 1080p @ 120hz in 3D, which really isn't 120hz, but 60hz per eye. It does it by sending both the left and right eye images in the same transmission, but it can't support 120hz in 2D. HDMI 2.0 can, however.
