Okay, what is the best processor I can get? I have an Intel DH61WW motherboard with Intel H61 Chipset, I know about having to update the bios and I did that. However, don't ask about the trouble I went through, I had to do a BIOS recovery with a jumper, but it's all good now. Anyway, I'm running the latest BIOS and I want to know which is the BEST CPU I can get for $250 or less? I can't get another motherboard, but I can a processor. I want at least an Intel i5 2500k, even if it's aging, or if you can find something that is COMPATIBLE with this motherboard please let me know. Don't link me to the Intel CPU list because I wanna see it written by a person on here. My socket is LGA 1155.

If it's possible is their another way I can contact you? I'll might need help installing it.
If you have Steam or something that'd be great.

I found my board revision. AA G623116-204, so I can support them all on the Intel Site! Great news! But I have a last question. Do you think that Newegg will discontinue that processor before Christmas? Because that's the only time I can get it.

My ram is 532 MHZ DDR3, it is stock ram, will I have to buy new ram to support the i5? It says 1333/1600 Ram speed in the details on Newegg?

No it wont be necessary, the i5 3570 has a integrated DDR3 1333/1600 memory controller, but your current memory will be fine.

Man I wish I could pay you or something. Anyway, last question. Should their be any precautions as to installing the CPU? And will it damage my motherboard or are processor upgrades safe?

Well, I don't have a motherboard manual. But I am very smart with computers. I have installed ram and installed a graphics card. Not to mention I used a bios jumper on the motherboard, I was just wondering, If I put the cpu and heatsink in correctly, the computer should boot without any problems right? Or will I have to reinstall windows?
