Hello, I need a new power supply and for my budget of up to $60 there are a couple of PSUs available here in the Philippines: FSP Hyper K, Silverstone Strider Essentials and EVGA BV. FSP and Silverstone can get me 600w PSUs for my money, but I can only get 500w from EVGA. Which brand would you recommend the most? Wattage is not a problem, since both 500w and 600w will do perfectly for my system. Thanks a lot for your response.

Here's a new one from NZXT C model line, only it's in bronze rating. A little over your budget @ 3599 PHP but I'd probably trust it over the others you listed. No comprehensive reviews that I could find yet, so there's some risk but it comes with 5 year warranty. Another option to...

What CPU and GPU do you want to power with it?
An old system with an i7-960 first gen CPU that I paired with a GT 1030 GDDR5. It's still a solid system for my needs; can run csgo at 100+ fps and light AAA games at 60 fps in 900p low settings. I just need a beefier CPU cooler on it since it's a 130W CPU, and new power supply as well as a new case and fans

The SilverStone Strider is the least offensive from that list.

The SilverStone Strider is the least offensive from that list.
'Silverstone Strider' is about as non-specific as 'EVGA Supernova'. Silverstone Strider Essential is likely this thing, 230V only and it seems double-sourced between CWT (GPM) and High Power (NO-703). So i wouldn'be so sure ...
Nzxt C series is WAY higher quality than any of the ones in your OP. I would go for that.
You're probably thinking about NZXT C Gold, which is Seasonic Focus. NZXT C Bronze isn't. Although it still should be better than anything from the OP's list.

PS: Also, i've just noticed that @kotarohanzo necroed the thread and Jon didn't look too, and now i'm also doing the same 😀

a short list for some comparison of what is reliable vs what may be dangerous:

With 230V input, they would just need to improve the APFC MOSFETs on the GPX to make it solid.
Well, it doesn't look like they did : https://aphnetworks.com/reports/silverstone-decathlon-da850-gold-850w/3
Same bridge diode and APFC FETs as in DQ-M-V2L (same everything really) : https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/deepcool-gamerstorm-dq-m-v2l-850w-power-supply-review
That said, unless the current GPX doesn't actually blow up in contrast with what you were testing at the time. But we're getting a bit off topic here already.

That's a full range Decathalon DA850. Not a 230V only Strider Essential.
Indeed it is, i'm talking about two different things, Silverstone Essential is CW T GPM (or smth similar), not GPX. I was talking about Silverstone and them selling the stock GPX you've blew up, so they at the very least don't test stuff to the degree you do, maybe still more robustly than FSP and EVGA tho.
