Optical Drive
Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer £11.98
Total: £1074.33

( at this moment maybe still a bit overpriced for what i want but well )

My question is wheter for PSU it's better to take this one( i orginally choosed this): Corsair CX Series Modular CX600M
or the one which is now in the build the Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply.
It's only 50wat difference though there are a lot more connectors available on it ( which i prob not gonne use for this build )
is it worth to pay extra for this 650w gold version to have a more 'future proof' psu or is should the 600w bronze be fine?
edit: or is there any other psu that would fit in better?

Hey Wouter, It depends on what your going to be doing with your build and how your going to upgrade it.
Are you going to be overclocking anything?
And are you thinking of doing the GTX 770 in SLI mode?
Now the reason that PUS is more is beacuse its 80 PLUS certified, that means that it was made with top quality parts and should be very reliable. When buying a PSU you always at least want it to be 80 plus certified.

With that said i would recommend you go for the Corsair 750M as it has more than enough power for any overclocking you may want to do and if you would want to add another GTX 770 later on.
Other than that your building qute a powerful system so good luck! 😀 Hope I helped -CJ

thank you for your answer,

i was planning to overclock my i7 to 4.6ghz since i saw my motherboard is capable of doing it and well there's a good cpu cooler so i don't see why i shouldn't do that
as for now i'm not plannign to go in SLI mode but for later on when it gets outdated i might do it so i'll probally will go for the 750M as for the 750M
would you recomend the CS750M (gold ) ( 95€) or the RM750 ( gold ) (99.99€) or one of the bronze ones cx750m (80€) / cx 750 (79€)
and i do know a little bit of wat things so is this statement right that the 750 would 'waste' the "wats" i don't use if i don't use everything. if Yes wouldn't the 650 be better since it would also be cheaper in the electric bills or isn't it is such a large differance ( and is the RM 650W also not able to overclock my cpu and have 2 gpu's or am i wrong? )

There are more considerations than just functionality. Total wattage does not equal the available power on individual rails.

If that's too much for you, I will break it down quickly... The gold rated PSU you have selected is going to be a much higher quality unit that will provide peace of mind when it comes time to troubleshoot. Diagnosing PSU problems is hard, so avoid it by getting a better one.

Solution
Since you've stated that you could possibly go towards the SLI route in the future, I would recommend the HX/TX850, or the AX860. Any of those PSUs will sufficiently power two 770s and your overclocked i7. With a 650-750W you might not have that much head room and could possibly need to downclock your i7.

@proximon thank you for the guideit helped me understanding it a bit more about making the right choice to choose an gpu, and well ofcourse your other guides also even though i probally will have finished my build i eventually will buy in times ( see below ). i'm going to reread everything since i already readed parts of it when i needed something from information.

@g-unit1111
Thanks for the info i think i might go for this one though i have a little question :
( which isn't really striaght about power suply's though well )
I was planning to first buy the Case, gpu and psu, and maybe the ssd ( so that would be: Corsair 500r, gtx 770 (msi), xfx 650w pro series, kingston 3k )
now my question is if there would be a danger if i connect an to strong psu to my older set up which i have now ( and aren't that great: motherboard: foxconn 2abf with i7 2600 ( 3.40ghz ) cooling isn't upgraded or anything so well just a regular cooling thing i guess. ) as for the fans i wouldn't get the extra ones just the stock ones who are in the 500r uhm i'm not 100 sure if i said everything you need so well please tell me if i have to say anything more)
i made such a list: EDIT ( previous one was the other full build my bad) http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/WWWouter/saved/38lU
and for motherboard it should be this one if i believe cpu-z:
http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-foxconn-2abf-motherboard-7252011h48/
and as for ram are the ones who where delivered with it: 1333 MHZ 6GB ( 2x 3gb) 9-9-9-24
and as for the optical drive it's somethign about this but not really this one ( don't think it matters that much )

@enemy1g Well thank you for your info though i don't think i'll go for the 850 since it'll be overkill for my case and since i'm still a beginner ( this is my very first build) i'll probally end up making a reall dirty cable management in the case if it isn't modular and well the price is kinda high for something i might only need in some years ( depends on technology ofcourse ) so i guess i'll go for the xfx g-unit told and well if i would ever have to get another gpu i guess i'll have to get a new psu also but well i'll raise my hope i won't have to get another gpu for the next 4-5 years.

well as for solution of the build i want i guess i'll go for the xfx though i'm not 100% sure if it's compatible with uhm my old system ( see in the @g-unit1111 part ) though i 'guess' it should be fine but well it's better to be sure ^_^
thansk again for your help
