Currently looking for the best RAM to give me the best performance with my apu currently on a budget and looking to stay around $300 and looking at a set of 2 4gb sticks of ram that is cas 11 2400mhz let me know what you think and why benchmarks are always helpful! Thanks in advance

Solution
1600 CAS 9 = 11.25 ns
2400 CAS 11 = 9.16 ns

So you would have to be up in the CAS 14 range for 2400Mhz memory to be slower.

CAS / Speed x 1000 x 2(for DDR)

CAS 10 2133 is just about as fast.
CAS 9 1866 isn't bad either.

But would cas 9 1600mhz or possibly some other combo of lower cas and different speed be more efficient and provide better fps for gaming on the apu?

Apu delivers similar performance to the 260 in most current gen games I have seen its marginal but no reason to add more money for not a significant performance I find that the only worth while dedicated graphics card would be the gtx 750ti or higher other than that apu should perform similarly if not better to the lower entry level gpu's

I could definitely be wrong in that but for what I've seen the 260x has a wide enough fps difference in real-time games for me to want splurge on the extra money but I'd rather have the gtx 750 ti since it performs better and is cheaper (only 104 for zotac)

You are wrong R7 260 2x times stronger compare to APU iGPU
APU performance is on R7 250 DDR3 level

Depends to game 750ti struggles in new games, and is even behind R7 260 /360
