My question is what is the best storage setup for a gaming PC.
Parts - i7 8700, MSI z390 gaming plus with 2 on board m.2 slots, one asus pci e m.2 card, one Intel 600 m.2 240gb hd, two Samsung 970 evo 500gb hd, 1080 ti, and two Seagate barracuda hybrid 2tb hd for normal storage and backup storage.
Hard Drive Options -
I know it's over kill but I want to know the one that will make the most noticeable difference and at what point do you not notice a difference.
1. Two Samsung 970 evo 500gb in raid 0 to run OS Windows 10 and games.
2. Two Samsung 970 evo 500gb in raid 0 to run games. Intel 600 m.2 240gb to run OS Windows 10 on Asus pci express m.2 card.
3. Two Samsung 970 evo 500gb in raid 0 to run games. Intel 600 m.2 240gb to run OS Windows 10 on Asus pci express m.2 card.
4. Two Samsung 970 evo 500gb in raid 0 to run games. Buy another Samsung 970 evo to run OS Windows 10 on Asus pci express m.2 card.
5. Make two separate raid 0 with two Samsung 970 evo each. One for games and the other for the OS Windows 10.
