You missed a great idea: a streaming media player. My preference is the Roku Streaming Stick+, currently under $60 on Amazon; but there are less expensive Roku models, plus offerings in the Amazon Fire and Google Chromecast lines. The Roku Premiere and AppleTV might be too expensive (and large, especially boxed) to qualify as stocking stuffers, but they'd be great gifts too.

I'd also suggest a wireless headset, especially the in-ear variety. Even inexpensive ones are often good enough for listening to music on a walk or run, but some are so small that they're easily lost or misplaced. Anyone who listens to music on a smartphone (which is almost everyone) can use an extra set.
