Best tool to learn Computer Networking

Hello:

I am trying to find a best tool to learn Computer networking from beginner to intermediate.
I am considering a full features inexpensive Dual brand wireless router (Asus RT-AC68U Wireless AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Router) or a managed switch (D-Link EasySmart 8-Port Managed Gigabit Switch (DGS-1100-08).

Can anyone give me some suggestions?

neither the router nor the switch them will really teach you much about 'networking'....; however, each can be used in construction of basic networks at home....

A search on youtube or google, however, will give you a plethora of free lectures and all the theory you could need or handle.
