i think im in a pretty sucky situation is there a way to put more than one processer and combine the power of two or should i try to buy the one u recommended i really want to play crysis on max good smoothy because when i play games i have to turn down the grahics and i want to prove to myself that i can play all pc games good lol and crysis looks really fun on maxx

I highly suggest you stop worrying about maxing out Crysis. It's just one game and you need insane hardware to max it out. At your 1440 x 900 resolution an HD4770 or HD4850 should give you great performance in almost any game and let you play Crysis on high settings. If you want to spend a few hundred extra dollars to max out the settings and use AA in ONE game then go ahead but to most people without a trust fund its just not worth it.

First I dont think that'll fit in your case, mainly because it almost touches the side of my antec 1200 (prob less then half an inch of clearance).

Second I would rather spend money upgrading your core system, rather then through the stress of getting your system to run crysis only.

If you want my advice. Buy the powersupply and graphic card given above. Use those temporarily and down the road when you get more money move to an i5 system.

This is the cheapest HD4890 on newegg after mail-in rebate(it will take several months to receive your rebate fyi);
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127453

If you don't care about the rebate this one is slightly cheaper;

Either are good cards, I'd probably go with the XFX as they have a lifetime warranty and I'm not a big fan of mail-in rebates.

Alternately you could go for an HD5770. Not quite as powerful but it's new, cheaper, DX11 compatible and runs much cooler/more power efficient;

ARRGGGGHHHGHHHHHH!!!! that is a f%$@#& lie!
Here is the truth!;

A Nvidia Geforce 9800GT runs crysis on max perfectly fine and its only $120. I believe the confusion may lie in the fact that it almost impossible to run crysis with AA and AF on full stabily, but you dont have to worry about those because putting the AA and AF half way up will look very much the same.
Crysis ISNT the most graphically demanding game out there, just cause 2 and GTA4 run worse than crysis does, HOWEVER crysis is the second best looking game out there, second to Crysis warhead which runs better than normal crysis... glad i got that off my chest...

The best card for under $200 is the ATI Radeon HD 5770

HOWEVER! others suggested you will need to get a new Power Supply, which is very true. BUT, you will also need a better processor. The processor you are using, the 5200, is very old now and definitly wont be able to handle crysis. I reccomend getting a Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz as that is good enough to run crysis at max and is fairly cheap now.

You cant crossfire a 5770 with a 5970!
Nor a 5770 with a 5870
Nor a 5970 with a 5870
etc.

You can only crossfire 2 of the same card!

Also...
-2 5770s in crossfire is nearly as powerful as a single 5870
-2 5870s in crossfire is as powerful as a single 5970
