I am looking to purchase a 600 watt UPS for around 100-120 dollars. What are some recommendations.? I am going to put this on an older core 2 duo tower running an audio server, along with 2 uniden police scanners.

Does your current PSU have active PFC?

I really enjoy my version of that PSU. I have the 1500VA/900watt version and it can power my computer for a long time when the power goes out. It also will sometimes click a few times when adjusting the power from the wall to my system to help give the best power for my setup.

What APC UPS's will work well with active PFC power supplies? How do they compare to Cyberpower. I want something close to 1000VA and 600Watt support under $200, closer to $150 if possible. Any further recommendations?

I don't really know much about APC brand. We had some at the my department when I was working and worked okay. There was one that needed a new battery, but don't know how old it was since it was there before I took over. You would have to look up the reviews on Amazon.com or other sites and see what people think about them now though. I just prefer CyberPower because mine have been good.
