3 years ago the kind people of this forum helped me setup a gaming PC on a budget and I've been happily gaming away on it since.
Recently, I've been playing games like GTA V, Deus Ex MD and Far Cry 4 and noticed Im starting to get quite a lot of framerate drops and noticable performance drops. It seems an upgrade is needed.
My current spec is:
Intel Core i5 4670K S1150 Ret
8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black Low Profile, PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.5V
600W Corsair Builder Series CX, Non Modular, 80 PLUS Bronze, 1x120mm Fan, ATX, PSU
ASROCK Z87M PRO4 MOBO
2GB EVGA GTX770 SC +ACX Cooler
SST Precision PS05B USB3.0 Blk
I use a Samsung 40" TV as a monitor (1920x1080) via HDMI.
I don't have a particular limit for a budget but ideally any upgrade should be cheaper than building out a new PC.
