There is a big difference between a Geforce2 and Geforce4 (From what I heard) You have new features like the pixels shaders, anisotropic filtering and Full Scence Antialiasing...you also have some of those on the Geforce2, but with the added performance of the Geforce4, you can't put the setting higher, therefore producing higher quality images.

Yeah, but from someone who's seen it, is there a noticable improvement? With my overclocked GF2 I run all games at their highest settings at 1024x768. Older games I run at 1600x1200 at the highest settings.

Ok, and how big a difference is there? I know the features, but I haven't seen them in action. Is it a subtle difference or a major difference?

no offense, but thats a stupid question. he didnt ask what you were using, he asked what the best was, and theres really no argument. a ti4600 is the best (period)

The first LAN party I went to was at a PETA convention. They booted me when I shot a crab in HL!

for those of you wondering about the performance difference of a geforce 4 and a geforce 2 i suggest you read the articles here at TH. I do not have enough time to list and explain(as best i can anyways) the differences between the two, as far as the Ti series is concerned. The MX series is fairly close to a geforce 2 only faster, adn a bit better. As far as pixel and vertex shaders go, they make no difference for most current games, because they require additional programming, but in the future you will see the impact they have. it will be huge.
