Best way to clean motherboard slots ?

Hi,
what is the best way to clean memory and gpu´s slots on motherboards ?

My PC don´t give image , my gpu is working . The monitor power led is on and all fans spins and cpu is working too .

Compressed air.
There really isnt anything else, as they have internal contacts you dont really want to touch.

i use compressed air can and a white eraser to gently remove oxydation on the gpu connector .

You should try a different monitor if you have one available, just to rule that out. Also switch out the HDMI or whatever cable is connecting your gpu to your monitor.

But compressed air is the cheapest/easiest option for dust removal.

One of my ram slots has failed twice, and both times: I remove the ram, sprayed air with a gusto into the ram slot, wait for any condensation to dry, insert ram, smile.

If you have more than dust in the slot try a coffee filter and soak the corner in isopropyl alcohol and gently rub that in the slot.

With a gusto = use lots of it.
Just be aware of condensation you don't want that in your computer.

With a gusto = use lots of it.
Just be aware of condensation you don't want that in your computer.

I had exprience on a computer store during my course and that was used there to clean dust on every components . only ask here for cleaning slots beacuse I have never been in that situation , but for most people seems they agree with me .

then they should have a dry air compresser since there always some water in compressed air from a compresser i use to with with those . let hope you did not get any humid air in the slots .

I used the same . btw if you can check the question that I made with this link : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3328489/dont-show-image.html , because that was the reason to try to clean ram slots .
