Its not real clear on what you are trying to do. To me it sounds like you have a modular PSU and plan on plugging the 8 pin connector of the Newegg cable into the psu and then plugging the supplied Sapphire adapters into the newegg one. This would be a HUGE NO-NO! You risk damaging your entire system.

Please contact the PSU vendor for the proper PCIE cables or buy a new psu with the cables you need (or the universal 6+2 pcie connectors).

The newegg photo shows you need two 6 pin power connectors. Some 280 cards need a 6 and a 8 pin power lead.
That is usually found on a 550w psu.
Regardless if your psu does not have such connectors, it may be of cheap quality and will not deliver the requisite amps.
Using adapters is not a good thing if the psu is inadequate.
The psu molex connectors will be male, and it looks like the adapters for the card are female as is the adapter you linked.
