Start the Catalyst installation program. Select uninstall when presented options. Restart after completion.

After restart, you could also consider removing the AMD folder from your system (likely on your C: drive) if you system does not use any other AMD devices (like the chipsets on most AMD based motherboards).

What make/model of motherboard are you using, BTW?

Good, no AMD drivers will be required after removing the video drivers.

Supporting the 780ti will depend on whether your PSU meets its needs and whether your case is large enough to accommodate it. What GPU are you using now? What CPU do you have? What make/model of PSU?

Just so you know. Technically, you could leave the AMD drivers in place most of the time and suffer no ill effects. Once the AMD device is removed, Windows will no longer install/apply those drivers upon startup. Still since you have no need for them, uninstalling them and then removing the AMD folder is a good "housekeeping" thing to do.

You may face some problems if you leave the old drivers just like that.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and shutdown option.(I think so) or use the option which says for installing new graphics card.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

It's better to totally clean up the drivers for better performance.
