Best way to transport my PC

I'm selling my PC and the person I'm selling it to lives a good 30 minute drive away. I hear laying it down flat is good enough and the heatsink and graphics card aren't really heavy either. Would I also need to worry about shocking my case while moving it? I don't have the original box it came with though, I do still have the bag it came with though, the one that sort of feels like foam (which I honestly don't know what it's called). Can I just use that or is that all just unnecessary?

If you are going to deliver it with your car, you can just lay it down on something soft, and don't drive Fast&Furious style :)
Still if you think there is a chance for it to slide and hit any of the edges, put it in a box(cartoon one) or find a way to place it so it doesn't moves.

Would I need to worry about shocking my case while moving it or no?

The cloth or something soft serves only so that your case won't get scratches.
PC components inside should be able to endure the vibration and any mechanical stress in your car during transport as long as you put it correctly e.g. horizontal and not vertical...plus...if you not brake and accelerate like crazy...and hope that your streets do not have massive holes, try to avoid them.
I transported PCs many times already and everything is fine so far.

Gotcha, the only thing I'm worried about is putting it in the car and shocking the case cause I heard that's happened to a person I know.
