I'd like to watch the best documentaries: mostly science/history documentaries. Is there any provider (internet or TV channel) to be able to see the broadest spectrum of documentaries (such as National Geographic, History, Science documentaries, BBC, etc?).

I don't mind paying a little more to get what I like.

Thanks in advance!

I read about this a while back. IIRC its a documentary streaming channel started by one of the guys behind the discovery channel.
give it a look.
I only read about it no firsthand.

I have this one. It's cheap but hasn't anything of what I asked and most documentaries are not quite good, it's like they have 2nd class documentaries not any of the well-known ones by what I can see.
Thanks for your answer.

I've got Netflix and there're few documentaries, may be I can pay a better Netflix package?. I know those in the list offer documentaries, what I'm looking for is the best one for this, something like one especialised in documentaries, that would be great. Thanks folks.

The History channel has it's own setup for streaming, but I think you need a cable TV package to use it. Only thing I hate is that they play ads, and lots of them. I watch it for mostly Modern Marvels and there are 6-7 ads in each episode. There is no "better" Netflix package that gets you more shows, the only differences are in how many screens you can use at once and how many disks you can have out at once.
