Best Wifi range router

I need a wifi router for my house that can get the best range to my sons room on the upstairs in 40ft away? Any recommendations.

It's basically using your house wiring for network cables. Put a wifi extender on the other end and you're good.

There's also ones with an extender built in on one of the adapters:

If you have one ethernet port free on your main router then you can use powerline hardware just like wired ethernet.

No, the powerline adapter will work with it, with either configuration I gave before.
