Best Wifi USB Dongle for the Price?

I have a linksys e3 3000 wifi router.
I have a computer with usb 3.0 ports, I don't know the stats of my router, does it have higher outputs I could ultilize? Should I get a fancier dongle? Or just a $25 at best buy?

It has 5GHz capability so you may as well buy adapter with that frequency or with both, 2.4GHZ(802 .11n) or/and 5GHz. 5GHZ is faster but with less range and less penetration thru walls. If it's for internet only and you don't have super high internet speeds (150 Mb/s +) it doesn't matter. USB3 is no advantage either.

How fast is my router? How much would a good upgrade cost? I am just using wifi for gaming.
Also I have a booster right by my computer, does a booster make 5ghz work better or if im far from the router should I still use 2.4?
