Best x99 mobo

Im looking at doing a high end build, and have set aside a maximum of around $500 AUD for the mobo. The only question is which one? Im currently looking at the asus X99-deluxe. Obviously ill be overclocking, will be running 980ti SLI (in the nearish future), 5820k cpu, 2400/2666mhz ddr4 ram (32gb) (mainly for rendering), alot of editing and rendering and of course game play.

Thoughts and suggestions??

Just pick the one that fits your case and supports the features you want, like the number of ports, PCI-E slots, M.2 or go just by looks, as otherwise they are all functionally identical. You are as likely to get a good stable overclock on the $200 X99S SLI Plus as on the $450 Rampage V.

Since USB3.1 is a thing now, you may as well look for a board that has it, on the off-chance it'll come in handy one day for attaching external storage or something.
